Before Harding Shelton Group, Wenwu Xia worked as a research scientist at The University of Oklahoma.  His research areas included digit modeling the fracturing fluids and formation reaction during hydraulic fracturing, reservoir simulation, and real time algorithm analysis.  He held management, technology development and technical leadership positions within China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) from 1982 to 1995.  His research projects included basin sedimentary environment and history, lithology analysis, and reservoir protection for basins on shore in the south of China.  He earned a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 1999, a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Oklahoma in 2000, and a Bachelor of Science degree from China University of Geoscience in 1982.  He currently lives in Norman, Oklahoma.
