The champion team of the Third National Petroleum Engineering Design Competition and the minister of the department of the Second Petroleum Engineering Design Association Competition, Hong Cheng, participated the four-day technical training of unconventional oil and gas development for advanced technology of the U.S. shale gas development.

The president of Harding Shelton Group, Michael D.Bumaman, introduced the development history, current situation and development trends of the United States unconventional oil and gas development. Then he focused on the well drilling and well completion technology and the hydra-frac technology of the shale gas and tight oil. After the training, Michael D.Bumaman presented the shale samples of the shale reservoir of the Barnett to the delegation and wished the competition would be better and better.
